Many of us in the Social Media Club are enthusiastic supporters of coworking in Austin. So we’re happy to let you know that BSG Alliance is sponsoring a special Jelly Austin day of coworking on Thursday, November 29th. We will be meeting at the usual Jelly location, Genuine Joe Coffee House, from 11 am to 6 pm. We need a decent head count for ordering lunch, so please go to the Jelly wiki to rsvp.

Eventually, we envision permanent coworking locations in Austin, where techies, creatives, and others needing a third space to work, away from home or the office, can gather and cowork on a regular basis. I have been to a couple of the Jelly coworking sessions at Genuine Joe and can attest to the benefits. The good people there have been very accommodating and have allowed purchases of food and beverages, by those of us who were there, to be applied against the daily rental fee of the space.

BSG Alliance is taking the pressure off of the Jelly organizers this time by sponsoring the day. They are also making a special announcement that should be of interest to the people who usually attend the coworking sessions.
