HAM-up for Hunger Awareness Month

Last month, several members of the Austin chapter of the Social Media Club were motivated to help organize a blood drive tweetup and within a matter of days were able to put together a great turnout. This month we’re having a HAM-up. Below are the details of the HAM-up as you will find them on the Capital Area Food Bank’s website.

We hope anyone who sees this will pitch in and participate whether you Twitter or don’t Twitter. This is a great cause and the people who benefit from the Food Bank, as well as those who volunteer and work there, are the real story here.

What’s a HAM-up Tweet-up?

A Tweet-up is when people following each other on Twitter meet in real life. In recognition of Hunger Action Month, we’re calling this special Tweet-up the “HAM-up”. Clever, huh.
